Story Gallery
When
you submit a story, you may choose to submit personal details
such as
- Your
first name
- Your
age
- Your
gender (ie, male or female)
- Your
postcode
What will happen to this information?
If your story is selected for the Story Gallery, your first name
and age will be put with it on the web site.
If you dont want to be identified, we suggest you give yourself
a different name on your entry, eg calling yourself Trudi if you
are Sarah
Your gender, age, postcode information and some details from your
story may be used in the report about this project. Your name
will not be used. Postcodes will only be used for statistics,
eg 25% of story answers came from country Victoria.

The
Survey
How
do we maintain your privacy?
- All
information is anonymous and strictly confidential
- No
data is collected that can identify you as an individual
- If
you accidentally write something that identifies you or anyone
else, it will be deleted
- The
web survey forms will be held in locked storage at LaTrobe University
or The Alfred Hospital. Only the project team can read them.
They will be shredded after 20 years.

What will happen to the information from this survey?
The Australian Research Centre in Sex, Health & Society will
analyse the data resulting from this survey. Recommended changes
will be made to the web activity, if it is practical to make the
changes. The project team will prepare a report and write an article
for a journal/magazine. Copies of the full report will be available
mid 2004.
Information about the web activity, the article and the report
will be circulated through health education teacher and school
nurse newsletters. The report and a summary of the report will
also be available on the Access Information Centre web site.
